Dynamic Roads Hackathon
Road markings can be turned on/turned off through
use of under street lighting to alter movement as
per requirements throughout the day/week.
At peak times of traffic flow, the morning/
afternoon commute, road space could allow for 2
directional traffic flow.
On street parking may be desirable at certain times,
for example near events.
the second lane is re-purposed for parking bays. Changing the direction of traffic flow would also be
possible, here sharing space with pedestrians. 1 Way Traffic with temporary loading bay allowing deliveries at certain times or temporary cycle lane. during the daytime, road space may allow for
shopping areas to be fully pedestrianised.
